2007 BET Hip Hop Awards - TI Tops Nominees List
The 2007 BET Hip Hop Awards is here with us once again. Watching last year’s edition with The Game, Lil Wayne and Jim Jones doing their own thing on stage is something I really can’t forget.
There was a little bit of tension at the auditorium:- Jim Jones singing “Balling” with Jay Z sitting in front looking at him whilst The Game also chicken out when he changed his controversial verse “I have no beef with Jay” to “Peace to Jay” and a host of other performances.
This year’s awards night which happens to be the 2nd since its inception is slated for the 17th of October in Atlanta.
Atlanta rapper and King of the South T.I. , leads the pack of recently announced nominees for this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards.
T.I. tops the list of this year’s contenders with nine nominations, followed by Lil’ Wayne with seven nods, Kanye West with six, five for Common, Jay-Z is up for four awards, and Ludacris and 50 Cent each snag three nominations.
