Senator David Mark Sympathises With 2Face Idibia
The President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has expressed sympathy with music star Mr. Innocent Idiba, popularly known as Tuface, over the armed robbery attack on him in Lagos.
A statement passed to Leadership Sunday indicated that Mark spoke with the parents of the musician, Mr and Mrs Michael Idiba, over the gruesome attack promised to fly him abroad if his condition did not improve at the Lagos hospital.
He requested to be briefed on the state of his health as soon as he leaves the theatre. Tu face was undergoing surgery operation in the hospital when Mark spoke with his parents.
The Senate president expressed worry on the upsurge of armed robbery cases in the country and urged security operatives to face the challenge.
Innocent Idibia, popularly called “Tu face,” was shot by gunmen last Thursday, while he was held up in a traffic jam along Apapa-Oshodi road in Lagos. Over 10 bullets were said to have been extracted from his body.
