Brotherhood to Entertain Summit Guests
THE Brotherhood Choir has been selected to entertain delegates during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will take place in Kampala in November.
British choral conductor Bob Barsby announced this during the launch of the Kampala Chamber Choir at the Open House (Buganda road), recently. The Brotherhood was the Guest choir at the function.
The group, a nine-strong choir of the Adventist Church is comprises three brothers Enoch, Paul Tash and Israel Nasasira.
They formed the choir six years ago. Four other musically talented students Joshua Kagimu, Dennis Abuti, Emmanuel Wasswa and Jessy soon joined the three.
The Brotherhood choristers sing an interesting fusion of traditional Ugandan music and American Gospel. They sing mostly acapella style (without instruments).
